I am still here, altho it has been so long I almost forgot my password. My back and hips have been so sore I haven't been able to get up off the sofa for two weeks. Yikes! I can't go to PT because I can't drive, so I'm all swollen up with the lymphedema again too. But finally feeling a little human again.
Here is a picture of us in the mountains. The car ride up there was what finally did me in, but it was wonderful. We stayed in an old farmhouse which had a mother-in-law suite turned into a B & B. Or actually, just a B. We took our own food since there was a kitchen. There was a lovely veranda with a glassed in/screened in portion at on end. And a very poofy love seat where I camped! I love it up there. So peaceful.
It was called Blueberry Hill Farm and it was wonderful. Can't wait to go back!
I have been sewing a little bit. Some pillow covers for my "nest" on the sofa and a Victorian pin cushion from the book Randi sent me. Dillon's future remains to be seen. He did a spite pee in the DR on the hideously expensive oriental rug. The last time a dog peed on my w/w carpet, I got so upset I cut the area out with an Xacto knife. I just can't stand it.
I ordered a book with patterns from Sew Serendipity. I saw the author on a sewing show making the Parisian Jacket and I am hot to try it.
Well, I have managed to fritter away half the day doing nothing, so let me find something constructive to do. They really need to have lots of support groups for people who have been damaged by chemo and radiation. No one tells you how bad it can be or how crazy it can make you. Every day is an adventure.....
Aw, hope you're feeling better. I've been thinking about you...
Hugs...
